This lecture will explore the Vagus Nerve and the autonomic branches of the nervous system, specifically the social engagement branch and its critical importance in working with trauma. The evening will include exercises that will help you orient to and settle your own nervous system.
You will learn skills for recognizing nervous system states in yourself and others.
Come learn the basics of the biodynamic paradigm, including shifting your focus to what is well in yourself and your clients, and how embodying biodynamic principles can support a person to re-orient to their wellness and capacity.
