Professional Craniosacral Practitioner Training

The School of Inner Health is excited to announce that our next Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Practitioner Certification Training cohort is forming. The last opportunity to join this cohort begins online September 29th! Our hybrid introduction to this excellent Professional training in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy consists of six days, three online and three on-site. We have discovered that beginning online has two huge benefits:

  1. Students have the opportunity to practice initial essential practitioner skills in the comfort and safety of their own homes. This allows them to tune in deeply in a safe space rather than in a new environment with new people.
  2. Because of the way the online course is taught and the emphasis placed on building relationships, the bonding that occurs online is notable and profound. Students consistently end the online portion excited to meet each other in person.
  3. Waiting until both the practitioner and client are ready to connect more deeply by coming into physical contact is part of what happens in each Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy session sequence.

Including the hybrid course, the Practitioner Certification training is 10 modules with 350 classroom hours (35 per module) and 350 hours of outside-of-class study, for a total of 700 hours. Modules 2-10 are scheduled for 5 days on-site. On-site portions are contingent on such gatherings being permissible by State and County COVID guidelines at the scheduled time.

Our Biodynamic Craniosacral Practitioner training program is sequential and in accordance with the curriculum guidelines of the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America (BCTA/NA). Students begin with Module One, and then are invited to join the training cohort by the instructor who has assessed each student’s readiness and capacity for self-regulation during Module One. Each invited student is asked to commit to matriculating with their cohort. The deepening relationships in each cohort play a significant role in the learning process and in creating the conditions for healing.

In this professional practitioner training, we teach the essential and necessary skills to become a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist. The goal of our multi-module practitioner training course is for students to become effective and competent professional practitioners of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. Graduates have a capacity to recognize and respond to what is occurring in the body and the ability to meet each unique person and story with skill and presence. Care is taken to teach the skills of competence, confidence and accurate perception that are the foundation of becoming an effective practitioner. Students are taught how to create the conditions for healing to occur and how to orient to the well-being in themselves and their clients. Students practice engaging with levels and layers of perception that are uncommon to other modalities, including sensing and contacting places that cannot be physically palpated and recognizing and communicating with the stories that the body is expressing.

Our next Module One begins in September!  Online theory which includes multiple opportunities for body-centered sensing of the concepts taught will be September 29, 30 and October 2, 2022. The on-site bodywork will be taught October 7th-9th, 2022. You can find dates for Modules 2-10, as well as module titles and content for the training here:
